Happenstance, it is all just happenstance isn't it? This blog is used to share my thoughts about whatever silly or serious somethin' or other that's on mind- I use to update it everyday until... until... Feel free to leave comments, I love sharing ideas and IF you comment, I might start posting again. Represented are some aspects of who I am. All this together is a small piece of my life.

I am tempted to say both, but I am reluctant in doing so. I am 95% for the self expression part of it. Our home truly expresses who we are, there are so many things that speak volumes about us. My favorite thing is my cross collection. In almost every room I have a cross...not so that I can prove to all that see it that I am a christian, but to remind myself daily that my salvation hung on that cross for me. There are so many little things like that in our house that reminds us of who we are and what is really important. Now on to the other 5% which is reserved for First Impressions. This is my vain side. I think it is because I have never had a house that even compares to the one that we are in, and we worked SO HARD to get where we are. There is a part of me that wants to show that off. Of course the minute I start to feel that desire, God reminds me that we are not the ones that deserve the credit because He is the one that has given us blessings far beyond what we deserve. :)
Wow, that sends chills. I love what you said about your cross collection. I need those reminders too- I don't have any crosses up but I'll do reminders on my screen savers and phone greeting- etc.
As you've seen from my house, I would say self expression.
