Child Support or Death?
Today in the news I heard about a guy that “disappeared” for 25 years after faking his death to get out of paying child support. Child Support? Child support is so hard to pay that you’d fake your death for 25 years to get out of it? Can you imagine being that “child”- WOW. Some people have issues (and those people shouldn't be able to procreate).

This subject makes me crazy!!! How can you be SO irresponsible that you won't pay? Curt is an example of how BAD fathers make it impossible for GREAT fathers to have any rights. We pay over $6K in child support a year and get no tax breaks, that makes me crazy. Of course we continue to do it for Connor and it is the right thing to do. People are so immature when it comes to having children, I wish they would understand it is a LIFE they are messing with. UGH.
People shock me sometimes (still?), deadbeats kill me.
Pixie, you're right- all the bad Dad's make it difficult for the good ones (in more ways than one).
You need a license to drive, to build buildings, to practice all sorts of profession, but to be a parent? For the most important job in the world, there are no qualifications. Any abusive, idiotic breeder can have a child. It is sad.
TinTin- you go girl. I feel the same way. Shouldn't there be some restrictions on who can have a baby or at least incentives for those you don't want to? I bet if this guy had the option to have a free vasectomy, he would have done it.
