Fun
Okay, as you get older- your version of fun changes. What use to be your version of fun? What is it now?
Today, I had lots of fun and the 16 year old in me is like- WOW, times they are a changing. But seriously, watching my boys playing soccer is so entertaining to me. I'm the proud Mom just soaking it up on the sidelines. This is it- this is why I had kids. These moments are so important to me. Sharing it with my family is the icing on the cake.
My team, yeah Team Titans, they were especially good. Last week we had a shaky start and I had a busy day weekend and it sort-of felt like things were not lookin' so good when all was said and done. But boy oh boy was I wrong. Today, I was reminded of just how great it is being a coach- my kids are so cute and they try so hard. The whole thing is just really rewarding and everyone helps out and it makes you think there is hope in the world that goodness is all around us.
Having said that- staying up the night before till after 1am watching 9 kids might have been a lil' counterproductive to a good morning today. Man was I tired. These allergies are not helping either. Oh well, the Captain surprised me w/an afternoon to myself and I've been enjoying doing nothing- well I watched a movie, ate and ate, then had a great talk w/my Mom and finally got around to downloading my pictures to my various blogs. All is well. Now we'll be going to a Rangers game in a few hours- that will be super fun too.
Life is good.

hey, i didn't get to say to you at the game but I'm glad to hear you feeling chipper!
SOS- I'm not reposting till someone comments on my topic. What is your version on fun, what was it before... this is a good topic for discussion and something I'm curious about. So anyone reading this... I'll stop slacking when you do (ha ha). But really :)
tintin- I was sad we didn't get to "chat" at the game but our lil' one had our hands full. The Captain says that's the last time we take Jack Jack to that type of function till he can behave better. I sort-of agree. It does make it hard to relax when he's trying to get away, stealing other people's food, grabbing food off the ground, etc etc etc. WOW. But I did have fun- I just didn't get to mingle much.
I am feeling alot better.
Oh yeah- I'm going to bug you about the picture thing soon (as soon as I get a picture I can stomach of myself). Can the picture be cropped? That would make it easier. I'm talking about how I want to copy you and change my queen to a real picture to make it more personal.
