Time Management
Okay, to respond to my sister’s comment... ;)
I have great time management skills. For example, I only go grocery shopping every other week now. We've sacrificed on quality of food for easy and fast pre-made meals. These are easy to store, last forever, and don't cost a lot of $$$.
On the keys, well I bought the hook for my key chain and now they stay attached to my purse at all times. The only problem occurs when the Captain uses them because he's not as into the habit of putting them back on my purse- no worries, it isn't a problem 99% of the time.
I have started saying no to more things, especially if they aren't related to kid/family time. AND I've even started saying no to things we just don't have time for in general EVEN IF it is for the kids/family. For example, the Cap and I are taking some time away from our martial arts (so is lil' one and he's totally cool with it). We were getting stretched too thin and something was going to give. While I love sharing Karate w/my boy and the Cap enjoys the relaxation of doing his own thing once a week- right now the time was just not there to do it well.
My BIGGEST problem is not lists (I have about 10 in my mind right now)- it is hours in the day (that and well the money to do the things I'd like, or to at least to pay for the services I don't). I have a lot of goals and I hate to not do anything 100%. Then time gets away from me- kind of like now. I need to be getting ready instead of blogging :)
Priorities, now that's my biggest issue to work on- putting the right amount of time into the things that matter. But for me, I enjoy spending time on things that may seem to others as silly- like researching Strawberry Shortcake and tracking down the perfect Sour Grapes.
