ER the TV series
I really like ER (the TV show). I’ve watched it since the first season. I didn’t so much love the last few seasons but I have to say it has now done a good job of picking up the pace and getting onto better storylines. I record this show and watch it when I can, the Captain doesn’t like it much so I try to watch it once the kids are down and when he has something else he’d rather be doing. I finally watched this last episode and was impressed. They have a great cast now (John Leguizamo for one and the chick from 3rd Rock too) and this episode was totally fresh- I mean it had monkeys (well actually chimpanzees), a Dr. Robot (that got locked up and cussed at), and a 14 year old sleeping with a Dr. that had NO IDEA she was so young. She (the 14 year old) looked A LOT like Hillary Duff and I think it might have been, that or her sister. If it was that’s funny because they joked about Hillary Duff on the show. Another storyline had me crying (about a son and an estranged Father) when it took a twist I didn’t see coming. All in all, I’m impressed. We’ll miss this series when it is gone, I think it gets taken for granted because it has been on for so long.
Do you watch it? Did you?

I have never missed an episode. I love ER! Its one on my must see (or record) every week and has been for the past 10 years.
I agree with you, this year has been better than it has in the past. The next few weeks are going to be really good too. They have some new guest stars coming on and something about a plane crash.
This past week the thing that got me to most was when they fired that nurse. She has been on the show since the 1st episode. I was not expecting that at all.
I think I watched the very first episode years ago, but haven't watched it since. I am sure the acting is great, I just can't watch all of the blood and guts (which is quite ironic since Nip/Tuck is one of my favorite shows)
Did you watch The Office last night? LOL!!!
Marie- I couldn't believe the fired that nurse either. The show won't be the same without her. I wanted Sam to standup for her and I was disappointed that Management told the nurse she was wrong to do the overtime and then fired her in the same day. That sucked. But that's why I love this show- that stuff happens.
I agree with you marezone, the storyline w/the 2 Drs overseas was a little odd and not right for ER.
Pixie- the Office was funny. That line about seeing other people, as in ONLY other people was great. My Name is Earl was awesome too!
