Blessings In EVERYTHING
It just occurred again to me that there are blessings in everything (and more often than not, in unexpected places and during unexpected events).
My son threw a HORRIFIC fit last night (the easy kiddo of the two to boot)-
it reminded me of how far he has come over the last few years. That type of fit throwing/anger issues were a common accordance and I almost forgot they ever happened. My Mom is moving out of the house my family always spends holidays at- it is forcing me to see my home in a new light. It is not a place that's perfect but it can be a wonderful place to LIVE in- a place where there is love. Now I want to host alot more activities.
I had friends that made me feel very alone- now I have a whole support group of AMAZING people that teach me daily about thoughts, ideas, and outlooks that improve my life on many different levels in many wonderful ways.
A couple we know and respect greatly confided that they had some money problems- hate that they're struggling, but by sharing their problem- we don't feel so alone.
Finances were creating a feeling of hopelessness- DuckMate manages money very well and helped me set goals and re-evaluate my outlook (learned it from a FAB class he and his partner taught). This gives me hope and confidence that we're doing okay and that things are going to get better. There were some thought-processes concerning our financial outlook I was confused about that was holding us back. Knowing more is always better than being afraid of the truth.
I had to sell the nicest vehicle I've ever had- it alleviated alot of guilt and getting into a much smarter vehicle situation feels so good. I know I can "lower" my standards and still improve the way I feel (didn't think I could).
Duck- you're right. Attitude is a CHOICE.
You take the good, you take the bad, and there you have- the facts of life, the facts of life.
