7 days of Christmas for Me

So all my Christmas stuff is DONE. Well I have a package to ship and Captain has a gift to find but that's not a big deal- we can get that done in our spare time. Can I just say I am so excited right now- I'm heading out the door and I don't return to work for 10 days.

What it takes to pull off Christmas in 7 days…
5 days of non-stop shopping during every spare moment (about 25 hours worth).
1 night of gift wrapping (6 hours worth).
1 wonderful hubby to care for the kids throughout it all (and alot of caffeine).

I had so much fun, I can’t wait to see how my gifts are received. I’ve come to peace with the money spent and the gifts given and after crunching the numbers I realized all is well.

Next year I'm sticking with the 3 gift rule though for my boys (I forgot about that goal from previous years). The gifts can be a grouping but it has to fit in one box and of course they're will be the stocking stuffers and 1 big gift from Santa... but that's it. The number 3 comes from the 3 wise men bringing their gifts. 3 is good.

Now on to the cleaning and preparing of the house…
